[Some of that practically when over his head as he gamed, but he didn't devote his entire life to doing it. Hijiri wouldn't had permitted it if he became a giant NEET who simply played games all day and every day.

Whenever she mention how Jin gotten his sword, Nagi couldn't help and raise his eyebrow in slight interest as he sips his tea. Claiming Judecca wasn't something that any normal mage could do without getting devolved by its power. There was a moment where it almost happened to Nagi, but his friends were around to help him get a little stronger to use it properly.]

In my world... Most of the enemies I've fought were either monsters or Magic King Candidates. There was even a time whenever I fought an actual Magic King. And that was an experience that I won't ever forget.

[And it was a wake-up call for him. All things considered... Nagi could've become exactly like his senpai if things went wrong. Though as long as he has his friends around to keep him in check, then he'd be okay. But even now, it was still a scary fact that there were changes going on in his body.]

... Using magic has a lot of benefits, but there's plenty of drawbacks to go along with it. If a mage loses control of their magic, then they'll become a monster. And as for me... Well, I'll become something much worst if that happens.

[He tried not to think about it too often... But Nagi really wanted to keep his humanity in tact instead of becoming a mindless creature of destruction. That's something he didn't want her, Jin, Sei or anyone to see.]
