Items:
Black Imperial Sword Judecca - A demonic sword that capable of destroying a world if held by a Demon Lord. While Arata isn't a master swordsmen, he has shown himself to be quite capable of fending off another swordsman with this weapon. With Judecca, it can allow Arata to use different kinds of magic at the same time and boosts his magic power to use Paladin level techniques. Thankfully, Arata plans on using his powers for good and not to destroy the world with this in his hands. The sword can transform into a smaller blade for a necklace.

Astil Manuscript and Illas Fragment - Arata's two Grimoires that allows him to copy other people's magic and rearrange it into something that Arata can use with his own twists. Both Grimoires can transform into different forms such as human girls or other people, but their primary forms are small books that are hooked to Arata's hand. The Astil Manuscript is known as "Sora" in human form and the Illas Fragment is known as "Ilya". These can allow Arata to enter his "Magus Mode" and grant him the ability to cast his magical powers or boost his spells if necessary.



Magic Abilities:
Superbia Achieve - Imperium: Arata's main Thema is known as Imperium or "Rule". This means that his magic can dominate and rule over all others. Arata's main techinque happens to allow him to negate magic whenever it's tossed at him. However, there are many flaws to use it. For example, this is more of a "area wide" spell than a "focused attack" spell. Whenever Arata uses this, it will negate all magic within range and this also includes his allies. It's a constant running gag for him to accidentally strip off the magic costumes of the girls like this. Hence why this techinque is called "Stripping Magic". However, after coping four Achieves of magic, Arata can use this magic to more effective levels.

Luxeria - Abies ("Magic Alchemy") - One of the spells that Arata has learned. With Magic Alchemy, he can focus his magical energy into molding his Grimoire into a weapon and use it accordingly. So far, he has turned his Grimoire into a gun and uses it to defeat the Dark Dragon that was holding Mina hostage. Through this, Arata can control his negating power into bullets fired through the gun. The drawback to using this is that fact that Arata needs to have a certain level of concentration and imagination to create the weapon that he wants and the Grimoire itself needs to "understand" the material that it's transforming into. Otherwise, it will come out as an odd weapon like a toy ray gun compared to a badass revolver for example.

Gula - Fides: ("Mantra Enchantment") - Arata's new spell learned from Akio. This gives him a new outfit and allows Arata to strengthen his body to negate and/or absorb attacks inflicted on himself. This also gives him an increase on speed since he was able to dodge all of Liese's attacks (with some extra help on Sora's side). Arata can also use his magical energy to form it in the shape of a dragon to either absorb magical spells or attack others. This isn't limited to the dragon, but even Arata himself can slap on a "logo" onto someone's skin and use that to absorb magical energy or attack someone. This can even happen whenever they come into contact with the logo. For example, Liese needed to absorb all of Arata's magical energy, so she kissed him. However, this worked to Arata's advantage since he had the logo moved onto his tongue and fooled Liese by having a fake logo on his fist. The drawbacks of using this spell is that strengthening the body can rather tiring on this user and the user needs to have a certain level of "determination" to put into the spell. Otherwise, it will be rather weak! The stronger the determination, the more stronger the spell becomes.

Acedia - Stagna ("Logos Arts") - This spell was something that learned from Serina. This one allows Arata to transport himself from short distances and stop time for a moment. For normal people, they'll probably sense that Arata's presence or magical power had vanished for an instant before comes back to normal. But for him, everything is frozen in a black world where he can move freely. He can even restrict other people through the use of this magic, but this can still be broken by someone else.

Finally, Arata's magic has drawbacks. Whenever it runs out of control, Arata can form a black sun that dissolves everything in sight. This is known as the "Breakdown Phenomenon" which is a very dangerous element. A Breakdown Phenomenon can destroy an entire city with the people if its left unchecked. And whenever Arata's emotions are under extreme anger or stress, Arata undergoes a transformation into a being known as Astral Trinity. This person happens to be the presence that lurks within Arata and happens to be the "True Demon Lord". Unlike Arata, Astral Trinity is ruthless, arrogant and lacks empathy towards all living things. While Arata is still inexperienced with using magic, Astral Trinity has shown complete mastery over the arts and does not hesitate in flaunting it. Arata's Grimoire was able to suppress this form and revert him back to normal after rampaging for a moment. Lastly, Arata can run out of magical power if used for long periods of time or whenever it's drained away from him.
